One of the most common shots used in rock music videos. This is not only for heavy rock but punk, indie and alternative all these different styles of rock music use this common shot of the lead singer and guitarist either shouting or singing loudly into the camera. 

The location for many of the bands in which we studied used the same style of location for their music video. They seem to use large empty open areas in which to flim. These are often then moved away from to show other story lines or other clips.

 

The album covers of many of the rock bands that we have researched have use different types of weaponry for their covers. This can vary from grenades to space guns to simple revolvers.However for the more indie album covers we have noticed that it is usually more a design.
